32. Arizona Cardinals

Around this time last year, the Arizona Cardinals were trying to figure out their situation at quarterback since Carson Palmer decided to call it a career out of nowhere. And while the Cardinals felt confident at the time that Sam Bradford would be the short-term answer after signing him to a ridiculous contract, the former No. 1 pick turned out to be a complete bust.

Luckily, Arizona decided to invest a first-round pick in Josh Rosen later on in the NFL Draft, although the former UCLA star made it clear during his rookie campaign he will continue to be a work in progress.

The tough thing about a young quarterback like Rosen is there are no guarantees when it comes to being successful in the NFL, and with a strong quarterback class once again in this year’s draft, it’s tough not to wonder if the Cardinals made a mistake.

At least after a season filled with frustration and disappointment, Arizona ended up earning the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft, and with plenty of areas in need of improvement, they will certainly have plenty of great players to choose from.

Most importantly, no matter what it takes for the Cardinals, the team needs to do whatever it takes this offseason to build a better offense around their beloved quarterback, or Rosen could be in for a rough sophomore season.
