3. Elijah Holyfield, Georgia

One of the more polarizing players in this class, Elijah Holyfield has been viewed as a possible Day 2 prospect by some or a player that could come off the board in the fourth round. Holyfield is extremely compact for his size at 5-10 and 215 pounds, and he carries that power well with multiple instances of him plowing through opposing linebackers occurring during his film study. His “thunder” would pair perfectly with the “lightning” in a bottle, Cohen.

After two quiet seasons to start his collegiate career behind multiple elite running backs, he put together a strong final year in Athens. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry while sharing backfield duties with sophomore running back D’Andre Swift.

Holyfield isn’t the dual-threat player that Kareem Hunt was for Nagy with the Kansas City Chiefs, but he gives them a legitimate bell-cow running back to lean on in those late game grind out situations.

Holyfield isn’t normally a quick back, but he has shown the ability to get downhill quickly when he puts his foot in the ground. He reads the gap, puts his foot in the ground, and he gets moving up the field. The Bears would love a player like Holyfield. He doesn’t catch passes very well, as he only had five in his final season, but he is a great runner for the Windy City team.
