Jacksonville Jaguars: 7-Round 2019 mock draft in early April
By Larry Brake
Round 1: Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State
Last season, the Jaguars offensive line was decimated by injuries. There was a huge drop-off in the talent level between the starters and replacements. Jacksonville upgrades the tackle position by taking Andre Dillard at No. 7 overall.

Dillard played in the Mike Leach air raid offense at Washington State. His understanding of that offensive philosophy will pay dividends for Foles and the offense. He played left tackle in college. Dillard stands 6-5, weighing 315 pounds. At the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.96-second 40-yard dash. He bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times.
Dillard played exclusively left tackle in a pass first offense at Washington State. He gives Jacksonville the option of moving Cam Robinson to right tackle. Jacksonville would be set at the tackle position. Of course, this depends upon how successful Robinson’s recovery goes from his season ending knee injury he suffered last season.
Since Dillard played in the pass first offense, he may need to work on his run blocking skills. Firing off the line, especially on the goal line, is huge. Remember, the Jaguars new quarterback called for the “Philly Special” on the goal line in the Super Bowl.
