31. Cincinnati Bengals (31)

After 16 years with Marvin Lewis at the helm, the Cincinnati Bengals will finally have a new head coach as they enter the 2019 NFL season. They went a little outside the box with the hire of Zac Taylor, who has just one season experience as an offensive coordinator in the NFL (back in 2015 with the Miami Dolphins) — and one season in college (with the University of Cincinnati back in 2016).

Taylor rose to prominence last season while working with the Los Angeles Rams as their quarterback coach. Of course, being an assistant to Sean McVay has it’s perks as it helped the 36-year old land this gig, but he did seem to work well with Jared Goff who made some big strides as a passer this past year while working with Taylor.

Cincy is putting a lot of faith in Taylor to help the team improve as they were rather quiet in the offseason. Their biggest addition was Jonah Williams, the left tackle from Alabama who they took with their first-round pick.

Should he help Andy Dalton stay clean in the pocket, it could end up helping them have a better season. However, the team itself seems like they’re headed toward a rebuild. That could be a good thing for the future, but as of now, it’s not great for their 2019 outlook.
