10. Week 5 at New York Giants

The Vikings head to the land of one of the most dysfunctional NFL organizations in Week 5. The New York Giants had a popular offseason for all the wrong reasons. They traded a superstar wide receiver in Odell Beckham Jr. for next to nothing. They then drafted Daniel Jones to the dismay of seemingly every fan and analyst. The Giants seem to be far from a playoff team as they have a ton of questions and holes regarding their roster.

This should be a fun game for the Vikings. The Giants should struggle to put up points regardless, but the Vikings defense is a whole new struggle for them. Aside from Saquon Barkley, the Giants do not have any playmakers on the offensive side.

Minnesota should easily contain the Giants offense and put up points on the other side of the ball. With Landon Collins gone from the New York secondary, the Vikings will move the ball.

From a pure football standpoint, this game will not be exciting. At least that’s the hope. The Vikings have the tools to end this game early. From that standpoint, Vikings fans should look forward to this one. Of course, we said the same thing last year prior to an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Minnesota last met the Giants in 2016, coming out on top in a 24-10 victory.
