32. New York Jets (29)

The New York Jets have added some good talent to their team but that doesn’t make it easy to buy into them. Even after adding quarterback Sam Darnold with the third pick last season, they still only won four games.

More from NFL Spin Zone

This year, they added a potential defensive stud in Quinnen Williams and you probably heard about their signing of running back Le’Veon Bell. Both moves help, but they don’t feel like enough to make up for the fact that they don’t have a great offensive line or legitimate No. 1 receiver.

Not only that, but the Jets hiring of Adam Gase as head coach was baffling, to say the least. Gase might have an endorsement from Peyton Manning, but that doesn’t mean his track record should be ignored. Gase had a problem with star players and shipped several out during his tenure with the Miami Dolphins.

His leadership was also a problem as some rumors suggested players were ready to stage a walkout if he remained. That’s not a good sign for the Jets, especially considering he already brought his divisive ways to New York as he feuded with his general manager and had him removed. On top of that, it was reported he didn’t like the Bell signing — which means this can go sideways in no time.
