Laquon Treadwell trade rumors: 3 Possible trade partners for Vikings
3. Carolina Panthers
Despite the fact that people are excited about the Carolina Panthers offense in 2019, the wide receiver corps doesn’t have a ton of quality depth. Yes, young players D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel have some deserved buzz while running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end Greg Olsen are great pass-catching options. Beyond that, though, the Panthers could stand for upgrades.

From Chris Hogan to Jairus Wright to Torrey Smith to rookie Terry Godwin, this group of wide receivers could use some competition to make sure that Carolina is putting the best group out on the field. The veterans in that group may have put up good numbers in the past but consistency has certainly not been there for them.
That’s where a Laquon Treadwell trade would come in. The Panthers could likely pry the former first-round pick away from the Vikings for modest compensation in a deal. That’s a low-risk move that would allow Carolina to see if they can land a big-bodied target to help in red-zone situations for a cheap price. If it doesn’t work, it’s not a massive loss for the organization.
Playing in the highly touted NFC South, the Panthers have to do a lot to compete with the likes of the Saints and the Falcons. Subsequently, if they can find a player with the potential of Treadwell at a cheap price and make a trade happen, the team should be more than willing to make things happen.
