4. San Francisco 49ers

There are unquestionably talented wide receivers on the San Francisco 49ers right now. Both Dante Pettis and Marquise Goodwin have flashed while rookies Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd offer upside. At the same time, though, Jimmy Garoppolo doesn’t have a true alpha in the wide receiver corps to target. Brown could certainly be that guy.

When the trade rumors about Brown leaving Pittsburgh were popping up, the 49ers were an oft-mentioned destination for the wide receiver. They seem willing to take on the risk, or at least they were at that point. But this is a team that is willing to make splashes to go all-in on winning and pursuing Antonio Brown would fit the bill in that regard.

3. Washington Redskins

Considering that we’re talking about a wide receiver that hasn’t meshed well with front offices, putting him on the Washington Redskins may seem downright wrong. After all, this is a team whose front office has continually been raked over the coals. But this is all about need and fit on the field, in addition to Washington being a team that’s never afraid to make a shiny move.

The Redskins have a winning defense that they’ve constructed but their offense is in a rebuild right now. Case Keenum is the starting quarterback for now but it’s only a matter of time before Dwayne Haskins takes the job. No matter who’s under center, though, Washington’s pass-catchers leave a lot to be desired. Putting a player of Brown’s caliber into that offense would give Keenum or Haskins and the offense as a whole a tremendous shot in the arm.
