Miami Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa. 1. player. 59. . QB

Call it tanking, call it rebuilding, call it something else you made up, the Miami Dolphins tore down their roster and stockpiled draft picks to be bad in 2019. That pays off here as they get the top pick and take Tua Tagovailoa. The Alabama signal-caller truly has the goods and checks every box that you’d want for him to, making him the right guy for the Dolphins to pin their future on as they start to build towards a new tomorrow.

28. . WR. Las Vegas Raiders. Jerry Jeudy. 2. player

After the Antonio Brown debacle ended with the Oakland Raiders releasing him, the silver and black were left without a true No. 1 receiver. Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock won’t let that stand and take the electric Jerry Jeudy out of Alabama with the second overall pick in this mock draft. Jeudy can do it all and should hit the ground running from the exact second he touches foot on an NFL field.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Justin Herbert. 3. player. 48. . QB

Even after Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won in Week 2, can you really feel confident in the quarterback at this point? He remains a poor decision-maker and inconsistent thrower, which likely won’t lead to a new contract. Tampa moves on here, taking Justin Herbert, a tall, toolsy quarterback that has the goods to step in and start playing right away, especially with the weapons the Bucs have already waiting for him.

4. player. 31. . EDGE. New York Giants. Chase Young

Anyone looking at the New York Giants roster could’ve predicted their dismantling in Week 1. They still have a long road ahead in the rebuild moving forward, which next leads them to grabbing a defensive centerpiece. Chase Young looks like a can’t-miss pass-rusher, a physical marvel that offensive linemen have nightmares about. The G-Men don’t have that type of player on the roster and shouldn’t hesitate to add Young if he’s available for them.
