Jalen Ramsey trade rumors: 5 Possible landing spots
4. Oakland Raiders
In the same podcast in which Jalen Ramsey said he’d like to sign with the Titans in free agency, the other team that was mentioned was the Oakland Raiders. Playing in the silver and black is always tantalizing but it may be even more so for a player like the Pro Bowl cornerback considering their approaching move to Las Vegas and the notoriety that will come with that.

Regardless of why Ramsey would have the Raiders mentioned in that instance, though, the fact of the matter is that Jon Gruden’s team could use a player of his caliber in the secondary. Former first-round pick Gareon Conley has flashed but has shown very little consistency. Outside of that, it’s Daryl Worley and 2019 second-round pick Trayvon Mullen, neither of which look like answers right now.
Perhaps more importantly, the Raiders have shown they’re not shy about making moves when necessary. They’ve obviously sent away big-name players like Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper but they also took a big risk on Antonio Brown. And even if that risk didn’t pan out, they aren’t afraid to make a splash for a move and player they believe in.
It’s impossible not to believe in the talent and ability of Jalen Ramsey. He’s an elite NFL cornerback, one of the best players in the league at his position. Even if he doesn’t necessarily make the Raiders a playoff team right now, he drastically improves their fortunes moving forward.
