Quarterback

Kyle Allen, Panthers (1.5 percent owned) – For anyone worried about the Panthers without Cam Newton, Kyle Allen put those concerns to bed in his first start of the season. Allen was QB6 in Week 3 with four touchdown passes. While that may be his ceiling, the Carolina backup has a multitude of weapons around him to make life easier and he could be an absolute stud for as long as Cam is out.

Daniel Jones, Giants (14.6 percent owned) – The hype train has already left the station and is boring full-steam ahead with Daniel Jones. Look, Jones and the Giants aren’t going to play the Bucs every week so don’t expect him to be QB2 every week. However, the rookie looked great in his debut and has added value with his rushing ability. He could very well be a startable quarterback in fantasy football.

Gardner Minshew, Jaguars (5.2 percent owned) – Color me a Gardner Minshew believer. Even when he came in as relief for Nick Foles in Week 1, the rookie quarterback still produced at least 16 fantasy points, which he’s done in each of the first three weeks. He’s a mistake-averse quarterback with some nice weapons that is proving he can be consistently productive in the NFL.

Jacoby Brissett, Colts (19.3 percent owned) – Jacoby Brissett is coming off of his best fantasy football outing of the season in Week 3, posting 20.8 points. He’s been consistent so far in the 2019 season, throwing at least two touchdowns in every game to this point and scoring more than 16 points in fantasy in each week. He may not have great upside but Brissett is a steady hand if you’re in need of such a thing.
