Minnesota Vikings (2-1) at Chicago Bears (2-1)

Sunday, September 29, 4:25PM ET

This may be one of the most evenly matched games of Week 4. No matter who comes out on top, it’s going to be a game worth watching. Then again, that’s pretty much always the result when two NFC North contenders collide.

In this one, I have to go with the Chicago Bears. It’s a painful decision for a Minnesota Vikings fan, but I do my best to not be biased. As much as I think the Vikings are a team worth taking seriously in 2019, the Bears’ defense is very likely to get the best of Kirk Cousins in Week 4.

Right now, Chicago owns one of the best defenses in the league. Although the offense hasn’t been nearly as effective, it’s been their defense that’s helped them to a 2-1 start. With playmakers like Khalil Mack, Kyle Fuller and Eddie Jackson on their side, it doesn’t bode well for the often mistake-prone Cousins in what should be a close game.

Plus, the Vikings don’t have much luck at Soldier Field. They’ve won only three games in Windy City since 2001, and I don’t see that number improving in Week 4. The Vikings aren’t irrelevant even if they do lose this season, but it proves that they will have plenty of competition in the division in 2019.

Prediction: Bears win 23-20
