5. Roquan Smith wreaks havoc

The Vikings have a horrible passing game. They rank dead last in passing attempts, 31 in passing yards, and 26th in passing touchdowns. Their running game, on the other hand, is excellent with Dalvin Cook. He already has 375 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns through three games.

The Bears defense is elite, but against the run the unit is just incredible. They rank fifth in rushing yards allowed and have yet to allow a rushing touchdown. They’re continuing their success of last season. It will be interesting to see how they handle Cook. If they’re able to shut him down, it’ll be a long day for Kirk Cousins and the Bears defense could have another multiple turnover game.

Roquan Smith will have a big game. He’ll help the running game up the middle, forcing Cook to the edge where the Bears’ speed gives them an advantage. Smith can also get into the backfield and wreak havoc. Additionally, he can drop back into coverage and defend passes.

Danny Trevathan, Smith’s partner in the middle, leads the defense in tackles with 25. Smith is right behind him with 24. He’ll be a tackling machine against the Vikings. He’ll be all over the field and Minnesota’s players will see him in their nightmares.

Prediction: 14 tackles (2 for loss), 1 sack, 1 interception
