4. Gurley held below 50 yards again

Anyone concerned about Rams running back Todd Gurley hasn’t seen anything to lessen those worries. Through four games, he has just 49 carries for 219 yards. And if you take out a Week 1 game where he racked up some big plays late, Gurley has taken 36 carries for only 122 yards over the past two weeks, even if he’s found the end zone and had seven catches for 54 yards last week.

More from NFL Spin Zone

The Seahawks run defense has been stellar to start the 2019 season. Bobby Wagner and co. have allowed fewer than 80 rushing yards per game through the first four weeks of the year, which spells bad news for a running back that does not look like his former explosive self. Gurley’s woes will continue and he’ll be held under 50 yards rushing for the third straight week.

3. Kupp torches secondary for 150-yard day

I’ll fully admit that I was skeptical of how much of an impact Cooper Kupp returning to health would have for the Los Angeles Rams offense. Yes, he’s obviously a big part of the offense but the thought was that he would simply be another piece in a high-octane offense, not necessarily a game-changer. Through four weeks, though, the Eastern Washington product has proven me quite wrong.

Kupp leads the Rams after four games with 32 catches for 388 yards and three touchdowns. Furthermore, he’s riding a streak of three consecutive 100-yard games, topping 120 yards in two of those outings. Against a Seahawks secondary that truly lacks quality depth, though, Kupp will have his biggest day yet in 2019 as he’ll go off for 150 yards and another score.
