NFL Trade Deadline 2019: 5 Landing spots for Vic Beasley Jr.
4. Buffalo Bills
Considering that the strength of the Buffalo Bills is their defense, this might seem like a strange inclusion as a potential trade destination for Vic Beasley Jr. Having said that, the Bills identity is predicated on their defense being dominant. Subsequently, making any kind of improvement that they possibly can to the strength of their team should be explored and adding Beasley fits that bill.

While Buffalo has put together a nice pass rush this season, the simple fact is that they are largely rotating players on the edge. It’s been an effective strategy but adding a player like Beasley that would offer Sean McDermott‘s team and defense more versatility at defensive end could potentially make the defense even stouter than they’ve already been en route to their 4-1 start.
3. Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts may be one of the most sensible destinations in the NFL for Beasley. Everything that you need to land him is in place. The Colts have ample cap space, plenty of draft capital and a need to beef up their edge rushers, particularly with the recent injury to Kemoko Turay. Adding Beasley would give them needed depth off the edge in the wake of that injury.
Frank Reich‘s team is currently sitting in second place in the AFC South, which is impressive in itself having lost Andrew Luck to retirement right before the start of the regular season. Even still, they can improve their defense and make a serious push for the playoffs by adding Beasley at a relatively inexpensive price. Of course, that all depends on how much the coaches and front office believe in Jacoby Brissett.
