Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4) at Tennessee Titans (3-4)

Sunday, October 27, 1PM ET

I want to start off by making it clear that I’m skeptical of this prediction. Putting my faith in Jameis Winston to win football games is not something I’m very comfortable with. Instead, I’m hoping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense is what makes the difference on Sunday.

Now I’m sure you’re probably wondering why I’m feel that way. The Buccaneers boast the worst pass defense in the NFL, but happen to have the best run defense. Yes, they’re a tad lopsided. However, they also boast the talents of Shaq Barrett, and the Tennessee Titans have a bruised and battered offensive line. The floodgates could easily open up on Ryan Tannehill.

That’s what I’m expecting to happen in Week 8. Yes, neither of these teams has much going for them. But what the Buccaneers have is an exciting pass rush capable of turning the tide on any given play. Barrett is going to have another whale of a game, racking up a few sacks, causing a turnover or two, and helping the Buccaneers squeeze by with the victory.

With that said, expect plenty of ugly play from both sides. Winston will probably turn it over at least twice, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Tannehill matched him. It should be a low-scoring affair, with the defenses ultimately determining the winner.

Prediction: Buccaneers win 16-13
