28. A.J. Epenesa. player. DE. Oakland Raiders. 15. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

After picking up a cornerback with their first pick in Jeffrey Okudah, the Oakland Raiders are back on the clock with their own selection here at No. 15. While the Raiders have been bad on offense, they’re even worse on defense. After eight weeks, they’re 28th in the league in points surrendered with 27.4 according to NFL.com.

For that reason, they again target a defensive player once again and land A.J. Epenesa. With Clelin Ferrell already manning one defensive end spot, they get a bigger defender here in Epenesa. The 280-pounder can not only offer a strong presence on early downs as an edge-setter, but he can slide inside on passing downs and allow Arden Key or Benson Mayowa to come on the field as an extra pass rusher.

Pick Analysis. Tennessee Titans. Jacob Eason. Scouting Report. QB. 16. player. 35

He left Georgia when Jake Fromm took over but now, Jacob Eason gets drafted higher than his former teammate. The fifth quarterback chosen in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft, Eason has put together an impressive season since taking over for the Washington Huskies.

After sitting out last season due to some ridiculous transfer rules, Eason has now completed 67.4 percent of his passes for 1,981 yards with 16 touchdowns against only three picks. Those numbers are much better than anything he did at Georgia as he looks to have developed into the passer he was expected to be when he came into the NCAA as a high recruit.

Now, he takes over a team that’s ready to move on from Marcus Mariota, the former No. 2 overall pick that was recently benched for Ryan Tannehill.
