Atlanta Falcons. Chase Young. 3. player. 44. . EDGE

Chase Young, who has been the most dominant player in college football this season, has been ruled ineligible for Ohio State’s Week 11 matchup against Maryland. While it does seem that the issue could be resolved quickly beyond this week, the fact remains that he might be the top prospect for the 2020 NFL Draft. And the Atlanta Falcons need a player of his ilk.

The fall of the Falcons has been incredibly shocking to watch. They’ve gone from a team that many thought could compete atop the NFC South to a contender for the first-overall pick in a seeming instant. A big reason why has been their defense the lack of playmakers on that side of the ball. Young fixes that immediately, a polished and athletic edge rusher that can disrupt opposing offenses as soon as he dons the black and red.

Joe Burrow. 4. player. 59. . QB. Miami Dolphins

Even though the won a game, the Miami Dolphins still find their quarterback of the future here with the No. 4 pick in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft. Joe Burrow has been phenomenal for the LSU Tigers this season, showing immense progression as a passer as a new-look offense has both asked more from him while putting more faith in his talent. He has rewarded that decision in a big way.

While there is always some concern about a “one-year wonder”, that seems less of a worry than with other players that earned that moniker when it comes to Burrow. His situation was one of being a tools-driven prospect with nothing on film. Now, he’s putting it on film. If the Dolphins want to take their offense to the next step, Burrow can be the guy that can lead them into the future.
