Jerry Jeudy. 5. player. 58. . WR. Washington Commanders

Since it does seem inevitable that Trent Williams and the Washington Redskins will part ways, offensive tackle was indeed a consideration with the No. 5 pick. Having said that, the line has not been the biggest problem this season, despite playing without Williams. This is a team in waiting as they hope Dwayne Haskins, their 2019 first-round pick develops. But they need to get their young quarterback some help.

While Terry McLaurin has been impressive in his rookie season, even amidst the tumultuous circumstances in Washington, he needs a running mate opposite him. Jerry Jeudy is the No. 1 wide receiver in the draft class for a reason. He’s the perfect blend of explosive, athletic, polished as a route-runner and sure-handed. Jeudy is a complete player that would help Haskins get his footing.

player. 53. . OT. Cleveland Browns. Tristan Wirfs. 6

The Cleveland Browns have been one of the most monumental disappointments in recent NFL memory. Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Myles Garrett and the new-look Brownies were supposed to take the league by storm. But believers were duped, largely by head coach Freddie Kitchens but also by thinking the offensive line wouldn’t be an issue. Spoiler alert: It’s been a massive issue.

While it does seem likely that general manager John Dorsey makes a move via trade or free agency on the line, adding more bodies wouldn’t hurt. That’s why the Browns take Tristan Wirfs out of Iowa with the sixth pick in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft. Wirfs has been a stud for Iowa over the past two seasons, manning the right tackle spot with ease. He should be an immediate upgrade in Cleveland to help shore things up in front of Mayfield.
