2. Tom Brady

After matching up against an NFL MVP candidate in Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 9 of the regular season prior to having a bye week in Week 10, Tom Brady will square up against another tough, young quarterback on the opposite end of the field on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.

Coming into a matchup against Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Brady has tallied 2,536 yards through the air this season while converting on 230 of his overall 355 pass attempts. The veteran quarterback has thrown for 14 touchdowns and has averaged 7.1 yards per pass attempt through nine games.

In the Week 9 loss in Baltimore, Brady finished the game converting on 30 of his 46 overall pass attempts, recording one passing touchdown through the air while averaging 6.2 yards per pass. With a quarterback rating of 80.4, Brady did manage to throw one interception in the defeat, his fifth interception of the 2019 campaign going into Week 11.

While going up against an offensive on the other side of the field in Philadelphia this weekend, Brady and the rest of the Patriots offense might have to put together yet another offensive outburst like they tried to accomplish in the Week 9 loss to the Ravens in a tough road environment against the Eagles.

Ultimately, if New England’s defense is able to get back to being the dominant force that we’ve seen out of it for a majority of the year, that will take some pressure off of Brady and the rest of the Patriots offense throughout the game.

But with New England having an extra week to prepare for this game against Philadelphia, I would bet on Brady and the Patriots bouncing back in a big way to grab their ninth win of the year.
