4. Denver Broncos

The list goes on and on of quarterbacks the Denver Broncos have tried to work with over the years since Peyton Manning decided to call it a career, yet they just can’t seem to catch a break.

Take a look at this current season for example when Joe Flacco was supposed to help the offense reach new levels in 2019 to take some of the pressure off the defensive side of the football, but unfortunately this was far from the case.

With Flacco heading to IR, Denver decided to give it a shot with Brandon Allen under center, and while it was certainly great to watch him help the Broncos defeat the Cleveland Browns a few weeks ago, this doesn’t mean he’s the right answer.

If anything, players like Allen and Drew Lock still have a lot to prove in regards to showing Denver they deserve consideration for being part of the long-term plans with the Broncos.

Since Denver seems willing to give any quarterback a shot to prove themselves worthy of a roster spot, the Broncos simply have nothing to lose in seeing what Kaepernick could possibly bring to the table.

And if they decide it doesn’t work out, at least Denver will still have other options to consider.
