Pick Analysis. 1. player. Scouting Report. WR. Colorado. Laviska Shenault, Jr.. 857

Buffalo entered this season with Brown, Zay Jones, and Cole Beasley. They ended up sending Jones to Oakland, deciding Brown and Beasley were the way to go. While those two have proven to be great free-agent additions to the roster, they need to put someone out there who can be a legitimate No. 1 receiver week in and week out.

That’s the idea here as the Bills grab Laviska Shenault, Jr. who ironically enough plays for the Buffaloes in Colorado. Shenault has ideal size for an outside receiver at 6-2 and 220 pounds but is more than just a big-bodied target.

He’s capable of getting deep and averaged nearly 11 yards per touch in 2018, finishing with 1,011 yards receiving and six touchdowns while adding another 115 yards and five touchdowns as a rusher. In the first nine games of 2019, he has another 621 yards through the air and 115 on the ground with five total touchdowns.

An incredibly versatile player, Shenault lines up all over the field for Colorado. He’s been an H-Back, wide receiver, running back, and even a wildcat quarterback. He could do the same for the Bills but his biggest contribution will be as a player who can grow alongside Josh Allen while giving him the No. 1 target he needs to develop into the kind of starter the Bills need to have continued success.
