Week 15 vs. Rams

As the Los Angeles Rams were on their way to representing the NFC in Super Bowl LIII last season, they had to go through the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round. While Dallas was able to make things close at the end of the game, Sean McVay’s team ultimately dominated that matchup and ousted America’s Team from the postseason. Now, we get a rematch in Week 15.

The Rams are not the same team that they were a season ago, though. The offensive line has improved lately but they are still far worse than they were last year. Furthermore, Todd Gurley and the rushing attack are less effective as well while Jared Goff has struggled to handle pressure, especially with Brandin Cooks out for the year and the wide receiver group getting banged up.

It is worth noting, however, that Jalen Ramsey has seemingly sparked this defense a bit. Trading for the cornerback was a risk made by a hungry, desperate team trying to fight back into the playoff race and it’s worked well. He’s really had that side of the ball turned up to another notch since joining the secondary.

While that may all be true, DeMarcus Lawrence, Jaylon Smith and the Cowboys defense are talented enough to do exactly what causes this Rams offense problems right now. So even if the Los Angeles defense is able to slow down the Dallas offense, the defense playing at AT&T Stadium should be good enough for the ‘Boys to get revenge for their playoff loss last season.

Predicted Result: Win
