The New England Patriots continue to stay atop the league standings as one of the top teams in the NFL as we enter Week 12 of the 2019 season. While falling in just one of their first 10 contests up to this point in the year, the Patriots will return to action in Week 12 with a big matchup against an NFC opponent at home in Foxborough.

New England will welcome the Dallas Cowboys to town on Sunday evening at Gillette Stadium in a showdown that will be an entertaining one to watch with star power filling both sides of the field.

With about a handful of weeks remaining in the regular season before the postseason officially kicks off in the 2019 campaign, the Patriots will aim to remain at the top of the AFC standings and NFC layout before taking part in the win-or-go home playoff games.

Coming into the contest against America’s Team, New England is coming off of a 17-10 victory on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 on Sunday Night Football, getting back in the win column following falling for the first time of the season in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens on the road.

The Patriots still remain at the top of the AFC East and conference standings entering the Week 12 slate of games around the NFL, holding a record of 9-1 overall on the year while going 1-1 in their last two matchups. New England remains ahead of the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins in the AFC East division, looking to be en route to claiming yet another divisional title here in 2019.

The Patriots will square off against a tough Dallas squad on Sunday evening on Foxborough, a team that maintains a 6-4 record and is coming off of a 35-27 win over the Detroit Lions last Sunday in Detroit.

The Cowboys, who have won three of their last four games, are currently in first place in the NFC East division ahead of the Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Redskins in the standings.
