Going into the Week 13 slate, New England is averaging 352.8 total yards per game, which ranks 17th in the NFL up to this point in the year. Houston, on the other hand, is averaging 381.6 total yards per contest this season, which ranks seventh-best in the league.
The Patriots, led by veteran quarterback and future Hall-of-Famer Tom Brady and veteran wide receiver Julian Edelman, rank fifth in the league in points per game with 27.3 and are eighth in the NFL in passing yards per game with 260.9 on average.
The Texans, led by quarterback Deshaun Watson and star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, rank 10th in the league in points per game with 24.1, while ranking 12th in the NFL in passing yards per game with an average of 244.7 yards through the air.
Both offenses being able to air the ball out early on and often and having the ability to turn up the score in no time will present multiple challenges for the defensive units on both sides of the field, but could make for an entertaining Sunday Night Football matchup on national television to cap off a full slate of games on Sunday in Week 13.
