Green Bay Packers: 5 Bold predictions vs. Giants, Week 13
4. Jones, Williams both notch 75 total yards, 1 TD
Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams have been among the most impressive running back duos in the NFL for the 2019 season. The Green Bay Packers backfield mates have combined for 963 yards on 224 carries and 12 touchdowns (11 by Jones). Meanwhile, they’ve also combined for 67 receptions that have gone for 555 yards and eight touchdowns.

Of the many shortcomings that this Giants defense has this season, their linebacker play has been chief among them. Alec Ogletree in particular has been awful at defending opposing running backs out of the backfield and the Packers duo will make them pay. Each running well and being versatile, each of Jones and Williams will have 75 yards and each will make a trip across the goal line.
3. Smith takes down Jones twice
Partially because young quarterbacks can take time to get the timing and nuance of dealing with pass-rushes and partially because the Giants offensive line has been bad this season, Daniel Jones has been getting harassed much of the 2019 season since he took the reins of the offense from Eli Manning. He’s been sacked 33 times already this season and that total will be added to on Sunday.
As up and down as the Packers defense has been, Za’Darius Smith has been an absolute force off of the edge virtually every time that he’s touched the field. He’s proven to be a fantastic free-agent addition and that will again be the case. He alone will add at least two to the number of times that Jones has been brought to the turf this season, eating well in a great matchup.
