9. Kansas City Chiefs (10)

As crazy as it is to believe the Kansas City Chiefs put up 40 points during their Week 13 win over the Oakland Raiders, and Patrick Mahomes only recorded two touchdowns (one rushing), this was exactly the case on Sunday.

Despite the Raiders coming off a brutal loss the week before to the New York Jets, the Chiefs knew their division rivals were the last team to take a light approach with, or it could end up being costly in the loss department.

Luckily, Kansas City found a way to take an early lead over Oakland, and would never look back, as this team is no on the verge of earning yet another AFC West title with a comfortable two-game lead over the Raiders.

Then again, as excited as the Chiefs are to be inching close to winning the division, the team knows they still have plenty of work on their plates since the AFC is loaded with plenty of talented teams standing in their way, mainly the Baltimore Ravens.

Mahomes is reigning MVP for a reason, and even though the quarterback’s numbers in 2019 are far from what they were last season, if he gets hot at the right time, the Chiefs are going to be difficult to beat once January arrives.
