4. Dolphins

It’s easy to understand the decision by Brian Flores to continue going with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center since the veteran gives the Miami Dolphins the best chance to win football games, but also this is holding Josh Rosen back.

Since the Arizona Cardinals decided to go with Kyler Murray after only one season with Rosen, the Dolphins knew they had nothing to lose in bringing the former UCLA star on board since Fitzpatrick was only part of the team’s short-term plans.

If anything, the decision to acquire a former first-round pick in Rosen seemed like it could potentially turn out to be a steal for Miami, but unfortunately the verdict is still out there over whether this will be the case.

As much as the Dolphins want to hope that Rosen can in fact be the long-term answer under center, this is another situation in which there is no guarantee this will turn out to be the case since he still has a lot to prove.

So while continuing to develop Rosen will be extremely important for the Dolphins, they may also want to consider the possibility of Foles if it’s going to be a similar situation in which he gives Miami the best chance to win games.
