3. Von Miller

After missing last weekend’s game, it appears All-Pro linebacker Von Miller may be suiting up against the Texans. He was listed as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, via the Broncos injury report.

They would love to have him back for this Sunday’s match-up and honestly they may need him, in order to pull off the upset. Especially after defensive end Derek Wolfe went down with a season-ending injury. Even if Miller gets limited snaps, he’s always a huge factor on the field.

They will need to get pressure on Watson, who threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns against a stout Patriot defense in his last outing. The Broncos star linebacker could make life tough for the Texan’s quarterback when he drops back to pass.

Head coach Vic Fangio addressed the media before practice on Wednesday regarding Miller’s status. In a quote from the Broncos official website, he said:

"“I expect that he should be ready to go,” “How we play him, if we play him, remains to be seen. One of the things is that [G/T] Elijah [Wilkinson] has been playing pretty damn good, too. He’s not ready to play an entire game anyways, so we’ll figure that out if he’s able to play.”"

It looks like Von Miller will make an appearance in the game on Sunday, how he plays and in what capacity seems to be the main concern for Denver. He’ll look to add to his season sack total, which currently sits at six. His presence on the field would be huge for them as they go into Houston as huge underdogs.
