3. Cameron Jordan

Cameron Jordan has been having a dynamic season and is part of the reason why the New Orleans Saints’ defense is getting so much respect. Since getting paid during the offseason, Jordan has been on fire by racking up tackles and sacks. His leadership on the defense is unmatched and his days of being underrated are history now.

Heading into Week 15, Jordan was an easy pick for a player that will be an X-factor. Part of the reason is due to the fact that Marcus Davenport is now out for the rest of the season. In his sophomore season, Davenport showed flashes but the Saints ultimately lost him to injury.

With Jordan still healthy, the Saints are back to relying on him alone on the edge with Demario Davis coming up from linebacker to make plays as well. Still, it will be Jordan who New Orleans needs to be a playmaker.

Looking at last week, Jordan had a pretty lackluster game and I look for him to redeem himself against the Colts. The Colts were just beaten by the Buccaneers last week with the Bucs only sacking Jacoby Brissett once.

Though Indianapolis has a strong offensive line, Jordan will show up motivated to make up for the Saints’ injuries on the offensive line. Subsequently, he’ll find himself in Brissett’s back pocket on a number of occasions and come up with a much-needed big performance.
