4. Montgomery held below 30 yards

Watching Matt Nagy use Bears rookie running back David Montgomery this season has been maddening. While the Iowa State has displayed his talent on several occasions this season, the workload has been inconsistent and the way that the runs have been deployed has also been troubling. And yet, the Chiefs run defense has been lackluster overall this season.

For anyone thinking that Montgomery is going to take advantage of that, think again. To begin with, the Chiefs offense looks impossible to stop right now, meaning that Chicago will be playing from behind on Sunday night, likely meaning they abandon the run game. And if that weren’t enough, the Chiefs defense has played much better since getting fully healthy. With all of this, Montgomery will be bottled up and have a struggling day at the office.

3. Jones notches 2.5 sacks

Since returning at the start of November, Chris Jones has largely been a force going largely uncontained by opposing teams. The defensive tackle has five sacks since the Chiefs’ Nov. 3 meeting with the Vikings, bringing his season total to a team-leading seven quarterback traps on the season. And with the Bears offensive line continuing to show holes, he can add to that on Sunday night.

Chicago has struggled to consistently protect Mitchell Trubisky, a strong downturn from what they looked like a season ago. Now that the Chiefs have further supplemented their outside pass rush with the addition of Terrell Suggs, that’s less attention that the Bears can pay to Jones on the interior, which means the veteran star will feast and end up with a multi-sack game on the road.
