30. Carolina Panthers (27)

With the way things turned out this season for the Carolina Panthers, the team had nothing to lose in giving rookie Will Grier a chance on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts since they simply had nothing to lose.

Like most rookies, the Panthers knew that Grier would most likely experience some struggles, but watching Carolina fail to score a single touchdown in the loss to the Colts on top of three interceptions by Grier was painful to witness.

Once the offseason officially gets underway for the Panthers, it will be interesting to see what the team decides to do at quarterback since a few months ago, Kyle Allen seemed to be a lock to be the new starter in the long run.

After the struggles started to pile up for Allen on top of the uncertainty surrounding Cam Newton, it became pretty clear that Carolina has plenty of evaluating to do over the next few months.

But on a positive note, at least Christian McCaffrey catching 15 passes for 119 yards in the loss to the Colts continues to show how great of shape the Panthers are at running back.

Eventually, the Panthers will figure out their situation at quarterback, and no matter who ends up being the starter in 2020, at least having McCaffrey’s presence will help in a big way.
