10. New Orleans Saints

With the way this past season ended for the New Orleans Saints, there’s no way Drew Brees is retiring just yet, right?

More from NFL Spin Zone

After winning 13 games during the regular season, the Saints were rightfully considered one of the favorites in the NFC to earn a trip to the Super Bowl before the Minnesota Vikings pulled off the shocking upset in overtime during Wild Card Weekend.

Based off Sean Payton‘s comments, Brees seems like he would be up for another season in New Orleans, and the fact that he can still play at an MVP level makes this seem even more likely.

But sooner or later, the Saints will need to figure out some sort of plan for life without Brees when the time does come for the future Hall of Famer to call it a career by retiring.

Does this mean that New Orleans could take the approach of drafting a rookie quarterback to learn from Brees until he’s ready to retire?

The chances of Burrow being the quarterback the Saints have in mind to be Brees’ successor sounds like a long shot at the moment, especially since Brees could still play for another couple of years and no one would be surprised at all.

However, the thought of Burrow somehow ending up in New Orleans would certainly benefit the LSU star in a big way since any young quarterback would love to learn from one of the best to ever play the game in Brees.
