9. Trade for Josh Rosen

Since the Arizona Cardinals decided to go with Kyler Murray at No. 1 during last spring’s draft, the Miami Dolphins decided to acquire Josh Rosen in a trade since the team found themselves in need of help at quarterback as well.

More from NFL Spin Zone

While the Dolphins did receive some criticism this past season for sticking it out with Ryan Fitzpatrick instead of giving Rosen the necessary experience, Brian Flores deserves some credit since the veteran did help Miami finish the year on a hot note.

With that being said, the Dolphins are expected to make a push for Tua Tagovailoa in the upcoming draft since the Alabama product is considered by many to be the second-best quarterback in the draft behind Joe Burrow.

In other words, if Tagovailoa is still available at No. 5, it almost seems like a guarantee that Miami will make this selection with the hope he has what it takes to be the team’s quarterback of the future.

And if this turns out to be the case, chances are the Dolphins will see if another team would be interested in Rosen’s services since it would arguably be too much to keep both quarterbacks on the roster.

Does this mean the Chargers would be interested if this were to happen? As crazy as it sounds, Los Angeles would have nothing to lose since Rosen hasn’t exactly been placed in the best position to succeed over the last two years, and could find himself in a great situation playing for Los Angeles.
