Watching the Green Bay Packers offense was often immensely frustrating. Aaron Rodgers came under a ton of scrutiny for his play this season and, in many ways, the criticism was warranted. His decision-making was lacking at many points throughout the year and he wasn’t as crisp or dynamic as we’ve seen him be in years past.

That may all be true but it should not be overlooked how little help his wide receiver group gave him on a consistent basis. Make no mistake, Davante Adams is a star and played like it when he was on the field. However, no one outside of the No. 1 — save for a late-season surge from Allen Lazard — really stepped up to make something happen on a consistent basis. And the primary reason why is they have carbon copies of the same sluggish big bodies that struggle to get open.

Subsequently, the Packers need to prioritize adding help at wide receiver this offseason and, frankly, it would be foolish of them to not add some game-changing speed to that group. Jalen Reagor out of TCU fits the bill as a first-round talent with the ability to be a perfect complement to Adams and the big bodies currently in Green Bay.

Reagor has the ability to do it all with elite speed both as a vertical, downfield threat while also having the quickness and ability to make people miss in the short and intermediate levels of the field. Putting him on this Green Bay offense would keep defenses guessing and on their heels in a big way, which not only opens up the field for Reagor himself but for the rest of the playmakers as well.
