. QB. Indianapolis Colts. Jordan Love. 13. player. 46

While Jacoby Brissett‘s knee injury certainly held him back from being as impactful of a player on the Indianapolis Colts offense as he otherwise could have been, I still believe he can be solid. However, for the Colts to compete in an increasingly strong AFC South, they need more than just solid at the position for the long term. So while they can roll with Brissett in 2020, Jordan Love can be the quarterback for the future.

Love has all of the physical tools you could want for a potential top-end quarterback. His arm strength, athleticism and, at times, accuracy are all highly impressive traits that stand out. He needs to become a better decision-maker moving forward but, with the time to sit behind Brissett and develop, Love can be worked with and turn out to be well worth the No. 13 pick.

Javon Kinlaw. 14. player. 48. . IDL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Even if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers do act in the way many people expect them to this offseason and sign Philip Rivers, there is still a need at quarterback. Rivers isn’t going to be around that much longer and the Bucs need a contingency plan to take over for him whenever he does decide to hang it up. With Love off the board at No. 14, however, it’s time to address another need, which is why they grab Javon Kinlaw here.

After letting Gerald McCoy go last offseason and then having Ndamukong Suh on just a one-year deal, there’s now a big hole at defensive tackle, a hole which Kinlaw can fill. The South Carolina standout is a powerful force on the interior that can create a push against anyone. While he’s not a freak athlete, his explosiveness and strength are freakish and he can use that to really bolster the interior of Tampa’s defensive line.
