5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Without question, Tom Brady‘s decision to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after spending the last 20 years as a member of the New England Patriots will take some time for football fans to get used to.

But also, the Buccaneers could use some help with the backup job at quarterback since Blaine Gabbert is a free agent, and Jameis Winston is currently searching for his next team.

Speaking of Winston, no one needs to explain just how much of an upgrade Tampa Bay is about to receive at quarterback with Brady officially coming on board after the former No. 1 pick received numerous opportunities to prove himself over the years, only to come up short each time.

Even if the argument can be made that Winston put together some impressive numbers over the years, the fact that he never led the Buccaneers to the playoffs is a huge concern.

Since Tampa Bay’s quarterback situation is going to look completely different in 2020 with Brady, they may as well consider someone with experience to serve in the backup role just in case.

Trubisky may not seem like the most attractive option in the world for the Buccaneers to consider, but maybe an opportunity to work with the future Hall of Famer in Brady could help his career get on track.
