Even if the Tennessee Titans are able to bring veteran cornerback Logan Ryan back, they’d be wise to still go cornerback early in this year’s draft. Both Ryan and Malcolm Butler are getting somewhat up there in age and Butler could be let go after this season due to his large cap hit and the team’s ability to let him go with little-to-no dead money.

In today’s NFL, it never hurts to have plenty of solid cover corners. Titans fans were extremely fortunate that veteran Tremaine Brock was able to join the team midseason and perform admirably after Butler’s season-ending wrist injury.

A.J. Terrell is a lengthy, press corner who can come in as the fourth man at the position for the team after Leshaun Sims signed with the Bengals. His presence will give the Titans plenty of flexibility moving forward past 2020.

Ke’Shawn Vaughn is someone who I believe is one of the best options to complement Derrick Henry in the Titans’ backfield. Vaughn is a one-cut, bruising back who has enough speed to break the big play. It’s crucial that the team adds someone to take some of the load off of Henry.

The former Vanderbilt Commodore has even said himself he believes he can excel in that role for Tennessee.
