NFL Power Rankings 2020: Texans, Rams shake things up after Brandin Cooks trade

Due to his previous work with Jared Goff, the Cincinnati Bengals felt confident enough last season in hiring Zac Taylor as their new head coach after Marvin Lewis was finally out of the picture.

While the Bengals were expected to go through a little bit of an adjustment under their new head coach, no one expected the team to flirt with history by almost going the entire year winless before eventually winning two games.
Now, the pressure will be on Taylor entering his second season with the team, as Cincinnati is expected to select Joe Burrow with the top overall pick to replace Andy Dalton with the hope of helping the offense back on the right track.
Time will tell when it comes to seeing if Burrow ends up being the answer the Bengals are looking for, but at least if the LSU star does end up joining Cincinnati, the young quarterback will most likely have a reliable target in A.J. Green to work with.
Green may not have been thrilled over the decision by the team to use the franchise tag since the wideout seemed like his preference was to test the open market, but a trade from the Bengals shouldn’t be ruled out.
Cincinnati’s preference is obviously to keep Green around to put the offense in better shape, but with all of the teams in need of help at wide receiver, the Bengals need to keep all options open.
