5. Houston Texans

First off, it’s still amazing to think about the Houston Texans thinking it would be a good idea to trade DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason since they didn’t even receive a future first-round pick in return.

Even if getting David Johnson as part of the package seems better than nothing, the running back is coming off a disappointing 2019 campaign and is easily being overpaid when looking at the whopping contract he brings on board as well.

Houston may be stuck with Johnson for at least the upcoming season, but there’s no debate that drafting Dobbins would put the offense in much better shape for the long run.

As bad as it sounds, one can only imagine the frustration Deshaun Watson must be feeling this offseason after losing his favorite target to work with in the passing game, and even though Dobbins is nowhere near the same level, this could still be helpful.

If Dobbins were to make a significant impact to the point where Watson feels less pressure under center running the offense, this is what should really matter the most for the Texans.

So while Houston has a few other areas that are arguably more important to focus on in the second round, trading up a few spots from No. 40 could still be beneficial.
