Wide Receivers (5): Phillip Dorsett, Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf, David Moore, John Ursua

Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf return as Seattle’s starters in 2020. Last season, Lockett set single-season career-highs with 82 receptions and 1,057 receiving yards. He also caught eight touchdown passes. The former third-round pick did experience a steep decline in production during the second half of the season. Lockett will aim for more consistent production this coming season.

Metcalf looks to build on an already impressive rookie season. The 6-4, 229-pound athletic freak emerged as one of the league’s best vertical threats in 2019. He made 58 receptions for 900 yards and seven touchdowns. While the Ole Miss product needs to cut down on his fumbles and should continue expanding his route tree, Metcalf is already a game-changing wide receiver.

Dorsett and Moore could battle for the third receiver spot on Seattle’s depth chart. The Indianapolis Colts drafted Dorsett in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, but he flopped both in Indy and New England before finding his way to Seattle this offseason. Last year, Dorsett produced 29 receptions, 397 yards, and five touchdowns.

Moore lost a significant number of snaps in Seattle’s offense last season. The Seahawks are not content with their third receiver position and continue looking for upgrades.

Rookie Freddie Swain isn’t projected to make the active roster. He and Ursua could battle for the final wide receiver spot, but neither will make a significant difference on offense this season. Swain sits on the roster bubble, but he could spend time switching between the practice squad and active roster at points during the regular season.
