Baltimore Ravens schedule 2020: Picks, predictions for every game
By Samuel Teets
Week 1: Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
Baker Mayfield took a massive step back in 2019. After an impressive rookie season, Mayfield threw 22 touchdowns and 21 interceptions while completing fewer than 60% of his pass attempts. Even with the offensive additions Cleveland added this offseason, Mayfield could struggle mightily against Baltimore’s stacked secondary.
Even if Jackson takes a few weeks to warm up and get into MVP form, Baltimore can rely on their defense to defeat teams like the Browns.
Prediction: Win

Week 2: Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans
Jackson versus Deshaun Watson is a rivalry I’d love to keep track of over the next ten years. Both are perennial Pro Bowlers, and each could own an MVP by the time their careers end.
Last season, Jackson got the better of Watson in Week 11, leading the Ravens to a 41-7 victory. While the outcome won’t be as lopsided this time, it’ll take several weeks for Watson to build a rapport with his new receivers and running back. Houston’s offseason personnel changes benefit Baltimore.
Prediction: Win
Week 3: Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens
Jackson won the league MVP last season, but Patrick Mahomes is the undisputed best quarterback in football. Hopefully, a rivalry sprouts between the two young stars and continues for at least the next decade.
While both Baltimore and Kansas City built offenses custom fit to their quarterbacks, Mahomes makes the difference in Week 3. The Chiefs plan on repeating as Super Bowl champs.
Prediction: Loss
Week 4: Baltimore Ravens at Washington Redskins
Washington used the 15th overall pick in last year’s draft on Dwayne Haskins. However, I wouldn’t be shocked if Haskins isn’t even the starter by Week 4. He struggled as a rookie, and Washington’s quarterback situation is one of the worst in the entire NFL.
Except for their defensive line, the Redskins don’t possess a particularly talented unit. For the second consecutive year, Washington could find themselves picking near the top of the draft.
Prediction: Win
