Week 1: Packers at Vikings

Minnesota jumps right into things during the regular season in the opening week while taking on its biggest rival in the division when the Green Bay Packers come to Minneapolis.

Whenever Aaron Rodgers and company come to town, it’s a big game for the Vikings. In this game, which will be a noon start on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minnesota will once again showcase its dominance at home by taking down Green Bay to grab an early lead in the division.

Prediction: Win

Week 2: Vikings at Colts

The first road test of the year for Minnesota will come against the new-look Indianapolis Colts, who feature veteran quarterback Philip Rivers under center after he left the Los Angeles Chargers via free agency this offseason.

When it comes to Rivers, he tends to turn the ball over a decent amount throughout the course of any given game, which will play into the favor of the Vikings defense in taking advantage of opportunities away from home in Week 2. Minnesota will come away with a close road victory after being able to record a couple of turnovers on the defensive side of the ball.

Prediction: Win

Week 3: Titans at Vikings

In Week 3, the Vikings return back to U.S. Bank Stadium to host the Tennessee Titans, who put together an impressive season last year and are coming off of a deep postseason run during the 2019 campaign.

Unfortunately for Tennessee, it will take somewhat of a step back this season and will struggle on the road facing a tough Vikings team on their home field. Minnesota will overpower the Titans on offense and will explode for its largest point total of the season on Sunday afternoon to remain undefeated.

Prediction: Win

Week 4: Vikings at Texans

To round of the first four weeks of the regular season, the Vikings will once again take on an AFC opponent while hitting the road for the second time of the year to face the Houston Texans.

After going through somewhat of a busy offseason leading into the 2020 campaign, most notably trading away DeAndre Hopkins, Houston will struggle early on in the year while trying to find its true identity in the new season. Minnesota will be able to grab its second win on the road to improve to 4-0 through the first four weeks of action.

Prediction: Win
