Minnesota Vikings schedule 2020: 3 Toughest, 3 easiest games
Toughest games on Vikings schedule
3. Week 14 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The third-toughest game on the Minnesota Vikings schedule will come in Week 14 when they hit the road to play the new-look Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Minnesota will get its first look at Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and the new-look Buccaneers offense late in the regular season in Tampa Bay, which will be a tough place to go in and try and steal a victory away from Minneapolis.
For one, this game is going to come on the road against a Super Bowl-caliber team in Tampa Bay. It will also be a game late in the regular season when we often see Brady start to turn into playoff form. Outside of the divisional matchups, this will be an important game for the Vikings in testing just how serious of a potential playoff team they can be in 2020.

2. Week 16 at New Orleans Saints
Over the past few seasons, Minnesota has established quite the rivalry with the New Orleans Saints. With a pair of thrilling playoff victories over the Saints the last handful of seasons, including a win in the NFC Wild Card round last postseason, Minnesota and New Orleans have a heated rivalry that have made for very entertaining contests annually.
In Week 16, the Vikings will return to the scene and site where they pulled out a Wild Card victory last year for a rematch against Drew Brees and the Saints on their home field in New Orleans. Along with it being somewhat of a rivalry game, this game will also be the lone contest on Christmas Day for the NFL, with the two teams performing on the big stage on the afternoon of Christmas Day this year.
1. Week 5 at Seattle Seahawks
The toughest game year-in and year-out for the Vikings comes whenever they face the Seattle Seahawks, especially when the game is being played in Seattle. In Week 5 of the 2020 campaign, that will be just the case for Mike Zimmer’s squad, when they take on Seattle on national television.
Minnesota heads to Seattle for a third straight season after the Seahawks have had the Vikings’ number the last few years. Minnesota hasn’t accomplished beating Seattle since the 2009 season, which has included a total of six games.
That’s not saying that it will be the same case for the Vikings this season, but this game against the Seahawks on the road will no doubt be the toughest contest for the purple and gold during the regular season schedule.
