A win is a win. The Green Bay Packers will be thinking this after Sunday but there’s no way they will watch the film from their Week 10 matchup and not be a little frustrated with themselves. Green Bay allowed the Jacksonville Jaguars, who were being led by rookie Jake Luton making just his second career start, hang around.

Jacksonville even took a late lead when Chase McLaughin hit a 31-yard field goal to put the Jags up 20-17. The Packers responded with a seven-play 75-yard drive that was capped off with a six-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams. That came at the 9:03 mark and was the final score of the game.

Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine will be criticized for this one as he allowed Luton to feel too comfortable in the pocket and while his numbers weren’t fantastic, the Jags were able to move the ball much more than they should have. On offense, the Packers had some uncharacteristic mistakes which included Rodgers throwing an interception and Adams losing a fumble.

As for the good news, they’re now 7-2 and should be encouraged by the play of Marquez Valdes-Scantling who had 149 yards on four receptions, which included a 78-yard touchdown from him. He’s now had two big games in a row which means they might finally have someone who can help take pressure off Adams.
