NFC North. Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota Vikings. 4. player. 60.

After knocking off the Saints in the Superdome in the NFC Wild Card Round last year, there were high expectations for the Minnesota Vikings. Kirk Cousins looked like a brand new quarterback, especially in that playoff game, and the Vikings defense was one of the best in the league.

Fast forward to present day and neither of those things has continued. The only reason the Vikings are even 4-5 is because of Dalvin Cook, who is having an MVP caliber season. He singlehandedly won them the game against the Packers and is the player opponents are game-planning against.

While the Vikings are theoretically still alive in the NFC playoffs, the teams who are going to make it appear pretty set. It’ll be the four division winners and the other three teams will be whoever doesn’t win the NFC South between the Saints and the Bucs and then the two teams who don’t win the NFC West between the Cardinals, Rams, and Seahawks.

It’s been a disappointing year for the Vikings, but there’s still a lot of talent on this team. They might not go anywhere this year, but the team should be able to rebound and be a playoff contender in 2021.
