. OT. Dallas Cowboys. Penei Sewell. 3. player. 123

Yes, I’m fully aware that the Dallas Cowboys defense is in a terrible spot. Frankly, if the Cowboys continue on their current trajectory and end up with a top-five pick, their best option would be to try and trade down with a quarterback-needy team and garner more picks to help build up that defense. But if they stay at No. 3 and have this scenario, they can’t pass on Penei Sewell.

The offensive line in Dallas has long been a point of pride but things have started to fall apart a bit as of late. A big part of that is the health of Tyron Smith, who hasn’t been the star left tackle he once was. Sewell could come in and be the long-term replacement there. The Oregon standout is not only young with a ton of upside but is oozing with strength, mobility and technique uncanny for a prospect his age, making him a day one starter who could be one of the best in the league at the position down the line.

58. . QB. Washington Commanders. Zach Wilson. 4. player

Even before the Kyle Allen injury forced Alex Smith to complete an unbelievable comeback journey and start an NFL game, the Washington Football Team still needed a quarterback. It’s clear that Ron Rivera is not satisfied with what the organization has at the position, so they use the No. 4 overall pick in the draft to land one of the biggest risers in the class, BYU’s Zach Wilson.

If you imagined Johnny Manziel with a bit less of a gunslinger mentality, better leadership skills, better decision-making and more desirable NFL size for a quarterback, you would get something close to Wilson. He’s not a perfect prospect but his season with BYU in 2020 has been close to perfect as he continually dices up defense with both his arm and legs. He could be the stalwart Washington needs at the position.
