NFL Power Rankings, Week 13: Browns make history, Packers win big
By Randy Gurzi
The Jacksonville Jaguars deserve both some praise and criticism for their performance in Week 12. The first thing they deserve praise for is keeping this one close. They continued to fight hard against the Cleveland Browns and even had a chance to tie it up at 27 late in the fourth. But that’s where the criticism comes in.

Jacksonville was going for two in this situation due to a failed attempt earlier in the game. After going up 19-13, the Jags went for two which made no sense. They failed and that put them behind by eight late in the game, rather than behind seven. Another reason to criticize them is the play of Mike Glennon.
After three rough outings from Jake Luton, head coach Doug Marrone made the call to put in the veteran against Cleveland. Glennon was 20-of-35 for 235 yards with two touchdowns and gave them a shot in this game. He was head and shoulders ahead of Luton, so why was he on the bench the past three weeks?
Of course, it’s probably better long-term for them to continue the tank so they can land a legit franchise quarterback but there’s no mistaking they weren’t playing their best players before. They also need to reconsider their in-game decisions as well. There’s a reason they’re 1-10 and that was on display this weekend.
