One reason why every NFC East team can win the division
Why the Philadelphia Eagles can win the NFC East: They know they can do it
This one seems obvious, but it’s true. The Philadelphia Eagles have won the NFC East in two of the past three seasons, including last year when they won it with a 9-7 record. At this point, the Eagles can’t get to 9-7 this year, as they dropped their seventh game on Monday night and they have a tie on their resumé, which could honestly end up being the deciding factor for them.

The Eagles aren’t good this year, but they’re a team that has found ways to grind out a divisional win. They’ve made the playoffs the last three years and know what to do when they get within striking distance.
A big reason why the Eagles are struggling so much this season is because of injuries and because Carson Wentz isn’t playing well (and Wentz’s issues are helped by the injuries).
If Wentz can play even just a smidge better down the stretch, the Eagles could be looking at a similar situation to last year.
Someone had to win the division last year and the Eagles fought hard and won it in the final week of the regular season. Maybe history will repeat itself in 2020 and Philly will find itself in the postseason for a fourth straight year.
