Gus Edwards, J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram — even with the latter missing three games — all have over 60 carries on the season and all have averaged over 4.0 yards per tote on the season. Though there is a strong argument for the rookie, Dobbins, to take over as the head honcho in the backfield, the truth is that Greg Roman’s offense is showing no signs that this isn’t a timeshare for the long haul.
Though there is a case to be made that the Browns have improved in this capacity, the truth is that this run defense is susceptible. With the Ravens’ commitment to running the ball — by design or necessity — they are going to find some creative ways to exploit that with their backs and with Jackson.
Cleveland’s shaky linebacker play will come to bite them a couple of times in this game as the Ravens will find plenty of success on the ground. In the end, Jackson and the trio of backs will all combine to come close to 200 yards rushing with at least one trip into the end zone between them.
